No, not rock-climbing camp - that's "rock" as in "rock out." Girls Rock Camp offers week-long day camps for girl musicians in an all-female environment. Instruction is available in guitar, drums, bass, keyboards, and vocals. Participants form their own bands, learn to write their own songs, and perform these songs at a showcase at the end of their camp session. Music is not limited to rock; campers are encouraged to explore any type of music that interests them.
Novices and virtuosos alike are welcome. Financial aid is available.
