About Glaze Under Fire
Glaze Under Fire offers budding little artists - and parents - the opportunity to decorate and personalize an unfinished piece of pottery, including clocks, mugs, dishes, and more. With a wide selection of idea books, fancy stamps, stencils, and colors to make the pottery special, your personal masterpiece is ready for pick-up approximately two weeks after your studio session.
Glaze Under Fire also offers Summer Art Classes for children ages six to twelve. Kids are grouped according to age and receive personal attention and instruction from the staff artists.
If it's a birthday party location you're looking for, the studio offers a party where - hooray - you don't have to do the clean up! The hosting parent decides the budget and selects the items for kids to paint, and supplies party refreshments. Party guests create a masterpiece using the studio's supplies.

- Glaze Under Fire is one of the most enjoyable places I've ever been in Orlando. Not only did my 4 year old girl enjoy it, but the rest of the family did as well! The staff was very helpful with painting idea's and steps on how to do accomplish the look you were going for. Although it is not very cheap, these pieces of pottery are food safe, and they will last a lifetime! A lifetime of memories for $30? Thats not asking too much is it?! And, there are plenty of coupons to choose from. Glaze Under Fire is not stingy. I was very happy with this pottery studio, and I'd reccomend it to anyone!

[Submitted by Happy Mom5/28/08 - I thought taking my 4 year old to make pottery would be a fun activity for us to do together - the plan was to make Christmas presents for the grandparents. I ended up leaving after making one mug. The staff was rude, overly concerned about the amount of paint I would put on our easel, and made a point to tell us everything we couldn't do . . . all before we sat down to paint. When I went to check out, they asked for my son (who was standing next to me) to please not touch these glass/crystals. I would understand if he was, but he wasn't doing anything but standing next to me. I couldn't enjoy this time with my son, due to the staff watching over my shoulder every second, reminding me what we could & couldn't do. I'm guessing they've had bad experiences with children. With that said, they should only recommend children over a certain age be allowed in. Then to top it off, I had to pay $30 for a mug.... ugh! I was very, very disappointed in this store.
