Glenarm is great if you just need the basics: pool, cardio, weights, gym, etc. Always been quite clean when I've been. Not fancy but good value for what it is. Hopefully they can expand the early morning and late evening hours.

Everybody is so nice and its a great place that you can go and workout for a very reasonable price. My little guy is taking swim lessons there and I love it!!! Nothing fancy, but it has everything you need.

I just joined the Denver Rec system and the Glenarm Rec center is right around the corner from my house. I was a little weary after reading the negative comment here, but now that I've been, I realize that this person just had a bad experience. The lady behind the counter was extremely nice and helpful. Yeah, it's a community rec center, not a luxury gym, but the price reflects that. They have enough cardio equipment and free weights for a good workout. The gym and pool are great too. I'd recommend it to someone looking for a lower cost workout alternative.

The worst place EVER. The swimming teacher for the preschoolers was very very unprofessional. She never introduced herself to us (the parents). Never told us what to do, where to go or what to expect. NOTHING. She never even said hello. It was the worst experience I've ever had. The sad part about it is I grew up in the neighborhood, trying to give back/stay apart of the neighborhood. Never again! Now I know why they say what they say about the neighborhood.....GHETTO GHETTO GHETTO. Its very TRUE every part of it.

Our seven year old daughter will never be a great swimmer, but she's getting to be a good swimmer. She loves her instructors. We really appreciate the people and programs of the Glenarm Rec Center.
