Come check out the NEW production of "Snow White" running now through November 21, 2009, every Saturday at 11:00am (with no show Labor Day weekend). It's a fresh, humorous take on the classic fairytale, with lots of laughs for kids AND adults, and a few energetic musical numbers to boot!

I've now attended two shows with my now 3 year old daughter (D.): Snow White when she was 2 and Beauty and the Beast just yesterday. The stage is in the middle of the square theater, with seats rising up on four sides. Both shows had periods between scenes when the theater goes completely dark, and the audio can get a little loud sometimes, which can make things a little more unsettling. D. did get scared by the "bad guys" at times and turned away from the action, but she always turned back around to watch, and said she loved the show both times. The theater has some nice touches for kids. If a child is having or had a birthday in the month that you attend, he/she gets to go down on the stage and get a little present and get Happy Birthday sung by the audience to them. They also have the actors sign kids' programs in the lobby after the show. This was a good learning experience for my daughter to understand that the Evil Queen is the character and the woman playing her was actually very nice.
