The Glendale/Peoria and Deer Valley YMCA is strengthening families in spirit, mind, and body through a variety of fitness classes and family programs. The facility features a fitness center, cardio room, 25-yard pool with six lanes, Kids' Action Hour, teen strength training program, family changing rooms, and a group exercise room. A recent 20,000-square-foot addition and complete remodel added indoor and outdoor playgrounds, inflatable bouncers and obstacle courses for youth fitness programs, a 10,000-square-foot gymnasium, teen and kid centers, and much more. A free Child Watch program is available for children ages six months to 11 years. Kids can enjoy games, movies, toys, arts and crafts, and storytime for up to two hours a day while parents work out.
