The
Golden Pioneer Museum & History Center - part of the complex that includes the
Astor House Museum and the
Clear Creek History Park - contains an array of exhibits from Golden's past, including ranching and farming implements, mining artifacts, antique clothing, and household goods. Special exhibits are offered and change three or four times a year.
The museum also offers
study resources for those wanting to research particular areas of the city's history. The museum staff is happy to assist individual researchers in finding appropriate source material.
