Goodwill's retail stores are located throughout the Seattle area. The main store located at 1400 S Lane Street (enter the parking lot from S Dearborn Street) has a large drop-off station and an extensive retail space. Inside, you can find racks and racks of clothing, including a large selection of children's clothes, plus shoes, purses, linens, CDs, DVDs, videos, books, toys and games, housewares, furnishings, electronics, and sports equipment.

There is an outlet store in the SODO area at Sixth Avenue S and S Holgate Street that sells most merchandise for $1.39 per pound or less. Most items at this location are dumped into bins with little organization, so it can take a lot of patience and persistence to dig up a deal.

From about mid-September on, the store becomes a major Halloween Headquarters with a large selection of costumes for kids and adults.

Revenues from the retail stores fund job training and other services that prepare people for job success.
