About Grand Hyatt
The Grand Hyatt towers 36 floors high over Union Square, San Francisco's premier shopping and theater district. And the hotel is attractive, beautifully appointed, and roomy. It has an in-house health club and privileges at local golf courses. The hotel also has a very good reputation for service.
That said, the hotel provides no special amenities for families. There is a baby-sitting service, however, and a concierge who is more than willing to help you map out some activities for you and your kids.

Getting There
From San Francisco Int'l Airport (20 min.): Take 101 North toward the Bay Bridge. Take 4th St. exit, proceed 1 block to 3rd St. and turn left. Proceed to Sutter St. and turn left. Take Sutter St. to Stockton St. and turn left. From Oakland Airport (20 miles): Take the Fremont St. exit (on right). Proceed 1/2-block on Fremont St. Turn left onto Howard St. Turn right onto 3rd St. Cross Market St. (street name changes to Kearny). Take Kearny 2 blocks to Sutter St. and turn left. Take Sutter St. to Stockton St. and turn left. Valet parking is offered at $30 a day.
