One of Hollywood's most famous landmarks,
Grauman's Chinese Theatre, with its Chinese embellishments (both simulated and authentic) draws throngs of visitors to its
entry court, where signatures, handprints, and footprints in concrete entice even the "coolest" of teenagers to see how their hands and feet measure up. Known in recent years as
Mann's Chinese Theatre, this is
the place to see summer blockbusters on opening night.
For a true (and inexpensive) Hollywood experience, start at Hollywood and Bronson Avenue to view the
Hollywood Sign, wander down to the corner of
Hollywood and Vine to view the famous
Hollywood Walk of Fame, and end up at
The Chinese Theatre or the
El Capitan Theatre for movie and popcorn.
