"Everyone milks a cow" at Green Meadows Petting Farm, where you'll interact with more than 300 animals during a two-hour guided tour throughout the farm.
Every person is encouraged to have "hands on" experience during the tour by petting a variety of pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, donkeys, and more as tour leaders teach kids about the farm and its animals. Kids can also take a pony ride and experience a tractor-drawn hayride.
Tours run continuously between 9:30am and 4pm and no advance reservations are required, though large groups are encouraged to call ahead.
Little red wagons are available (instead of strollers) for young visitors. Picnic areas are designated for those bringing a lunch, or you can purchase drinks, snacks, and souvenirs at the farm.
