Greenstreet Cafe in Miami, FL 33133

About Greenstreet Cafe
This popular local restaurant offers a wide selection of appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas, and other entrees. The kids' menu offers standard fare, including chicken fingers (much better than the average), pasta with marinara sauce, and hamburgers/cheeseburgers. Entrees include a drink - fries and ice cream sundaes are extra.
Weekend brunch is very popular for locals. It's great, but due to its popularity sometimes there's a short wait for a table. This is a bustling area, so the kids are easily entertained wandering the immediate neighborhood while waiting for a table.
There are some tables inside, and lots of outdoor seating (some under an awning). We like sitting streetside, enjoying the action while we eat!
Tips
Many of the restaurants in tourist areas include a 15% gratuity in your check - make sure you read your bill carefully!
Getting There
From the south, LeJeune Rd.(SW 42nd Ave.) to Ingraham Highway to Main Highway (Ingraham becomes Main Highway) and you'll see restaurant on left. From the north enter the Grove by taking SW 27th Ave. to South Bayshore. Turn right and follow road through sharp turn. At the center of the Grove (4 streets converge at odd angles at traffic light), make the hairpin left turn. Restaurant is on right.

- The staff could not be nicer - We live in the Grove and walk to Greenstreet at least once a weekend. Our 1 year old is treated kindly and he has been welcome since day 1. The food is good and he loves the pasta. Nice drinks list too + good wine. He loves to sit on the couches and watch the action.

[Submitted by Anonymous6/27/07 - Very friendly and accomodating staff, great food for everyone. My son (4 1/2) loves the penne pasta with Alfredo sauce. We prefer the outdoor seating.
