This is the type of place you can enjoy virtually anytime (entire menu is served 11am to 11pm), with or without kids (I've done both), any dress (casual to formal) and feel comfortable. My family has eaten here and stayed at the Inn upstairs (how convenient is that?) many times and never been disappointed. The food is delicious, the servers are very friendly and the bar is awesome! Definitely worth the drive. Can't wait to come back.

If you like an eclectic no nonsense place to spend some "adult time" with a cocktail or two and chew the fat with some locals, along with the best beer battered fish and chips made with fresh salmon, while your kids are upstairs all nestled cozy in their super comfortable thick foam padded matresses, then this is the place for you and yours.Treat yourself, you deserve it. We recently spent 3 full days there renting the full suite complete with functioning kitchen and seperate street access and based all of our costal (and only a quick 30 minute drive to downtown San Fransisco and Fishermans Warf) excursions from our "new Nor Cal home". The hotel has only about 20 rooms, so its just the right size to where you don't feel like a number after you check in. The staff is very laid back yet upscale and respectful. The food is top notch and reasonably priced. We felt like we had just spent a long weekend in the South of France. The place is centrally located right on Main St in HMB, plenty of shopping for the wifee and for me a short jaunt and a small hike to watch the world famous waves at Mavericks right outside the harbor 1 mile away. Please only tell cool people about this place. The others don't deserve it.
