Half Price Books is a great, funky, new and used bookstore, where everything is sold for half price or less. Usually much less.

Though there are several Half Price Books locations in the area, each store is somewhat unique. And because each store buys books and music from the public, its stock is different from the others'.

What all the stores have in common are great deals, friendly employees, and an inviting atmosphere. You can find everything from your baby's first board books to your teen's favorite young adult fiction, as well as plenty of fun, non-book gift items: games, puzzles, stuffed animals, software, CDs, and videos.

Be sure to check out the clearance section (some stores have "clearance carts" out front), where books are priced at $3 or less - with some kids' books as low as 25 cents!

To get some extra spending cash while you're there, bring in your used books, CDs, and DVDs to sell. Buyers are available at all times; no appointment necessary.

Teachers and librarians get a 10% discount.
