About Halloran Recreation Center and Ice Skating Rink
Halloran isn't your average skating rink; it's a Cleveland Recreation Center, and as such, its focus is on kids and family fun.
Almost daily, the west-side rink offers open ice or roller skating sessions for families, and even for toddlers. (Active parents, take note - Adult Roller Hockey is held most Friday nights - check the schedule, if you dare!)
During the warmer months, the center is popular for its water spray park and other outdoor amenities.
Inside the rec center, older kids can participate in a leadership club, and Halloran's staff makes itself available for homework help some school day afternoons, and most days after school, kids can enjoy (supervised) table games and other activities.
Twelve-to-sixteen year olds can join Halloran's Leadership Club, which helps with community events held at the rink.

- This is a great place to spend a day! We love it there. I'm really glad my family and I discovered it. It's a positive point of light in Cleveland and thank god for the center and its staff!

I Just Got Back From There And Had A Great Time.
[Submitted by Jesse Acord12/23/08 - Halloran Park is a tremendous community asset. No other community offers FREE swimming in a large pool with a water spray feature playground for children, adults and handicappd individuals. The water complex includes a 160 foot waterslide too! The park also has tennis courts with FREE lessons available, basketball courts, and a childrens playground. The skating rink provides roller skating in the summer and hockey and ice skating in the winter complete with FREE ice skating lessons. The center manager and her staff do a great job of organizing many activities for the children such as t-ball, flag football, arts and crafts and many other special events like the annual Easter Egg Hunt. In addition, the young and young at heart can enjoy FREE summer Sunday evening concerts at the Halloran Park Gazebo. If you'd like to socialize the Halloran Young Seniors meet at the center every Monday. Stop in and visit Halloran Park and find out all that it has to offer.
