Happy Days Special Events Site sits inside
Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and offers a special location for special events - by reservation only.
The Happy Days building was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1938.
Just behind Happy Days' back door, visitors can find Haskell Run Trail, a short-but-steep hiking path dotted with numbered signs that identify many of the plants, animals, and environmental processes along the trail.
The Mater Delorosa cemetery, circa 1869, is located on the east side of Happy Days. Many of the stones are impossible to read, but enough inscriptions have survived to offer plenty of fodder for discussion for kids interested in area history, as the cemetery includes a fair number of residents who perished during the civil war.
