The
Harvard Museum of Natural History conducts one-week
Summer Science Week sessions for children who have completed preschool through grade 6. Children ages 4 to 5 must be accompanied by an adult.
During the week, guided by museum educators, kids explore and investigate the museum from top to bottom. Each camp blends hands-on, activity-based learning with a little bit of fun thrown in for good measure. Students handle Museum specimens, peek behind the scenes, meet live animals, use scientific equipment, explore exhibits, conduct experiments, make craft projects, and venture outside for a bit of fresh air.
Daily Schedule: Summer Science Weeks run from Monday through Friday, 9:30am-12n. Snack is provided (please don't bring your own).
Dates: Programs are scheduled in weekly sessions during the months of July and August and during school vacation periods. Scheduled programs vary according to age group. Each age group has at least two weeks to choose from. Some weeks have specialized themes. Check the website for details.
