A trip to Hawaiian Falls brings relief from the sweltering Texas summers. This waterpark provides just the right combination of pools, slides, and manufactured shade for a fun day out with the family.

Plan on arriving early because the lines can be extremely long. Or better yet, purchase advance tickets online and avoid the lines completely. Once in the park, make a beeline for a table, chaise lounge, or any squatting spot under some shade. These highly coveted spots are prevalent, but are snatched up in a jiffy.

Cabanas can be rented in advance and include water, a locker, radio, shade, and two chaise lounges.

Coolers brought from home are welcome. The restaurant menu consists of hot dogs, hamburgers, and corn dogs.

Mild attractions include a wave pool, the Keiki Kove water playground, and the Kona Kooler lazy river that circles the park.

Moderate and daring attractions include a two-person inner tube ride, the Flyin' Hawaiian speed slide, and a 65-foot, free fall body slide.

Birthday party packages are available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
