Heartsong Music teaches Music Together, an early childhood music program for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners through age 7 and their caregivers. Classes include songs, rhythmic chants, movement, and instrument play. Activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences that are developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers, regardless of musical abilities.
Their Music Together classes include a babies class (for 0-8 month olds), mixed-age classes (for 0-5 year olds) Inter-Generational classes (for 0-5 year olds) that take place at assisted-living facilities in town and a Big Kids class (for 5-7 year olds).
Heartsong offers music-filled birthday party opportunities for kids who like to sing and play instruments - or parents can simply rent space to hold a party. They also sell beautiful rhythm instruments and gift certificates are available for purchase as well. Call for details.
