Peninsula's oldest family-run farm (it's been in the same family for five generations) offers a seasonal cornucopia of produce, flowers, and other items for sale, plus family events.
In October, families pick pumpkins from the patch out front; December brings cut-your-own Christmas tree time to Heritage Farms. In the summer, over 300 varieties of day lilies are available, and on summer Saturdays, the Countryside Farmers Market, brimming with locally grown produce, is open from 9am-1pm.
We like to take the kids, and the camera, to get some seasonal, natural, and candid snapshots in a beautiful setting - and picking up a week's worth of delicious fruits and vegetables is a great bonus.
