Canton's 105-acre Heritage Park includes an amphitheater, soccer fields, softball fields, pavilions, picnic areas with a gazebo, ponds, sand volleyball courts, a football field, fishing pier, walking paths, and restrooms. Park pavilions and the gazebo are available for rental.
The most popular summertime attraction is the park's splash playground (open Memorial Day through Labor Day, 10am-8pm), located near Heritage Hideout. Just touch the fire hydrant to start the water fun. Children 12 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times. Water shoes are recommended, and pets are not allowed in the playground.
