    about Heritage Village:

Heritage Village is a 21-acre living history museum that features more than 28 historic structures, some dating back to the 19th century, including a school, church, railroad depot, mercantile, and numerous homes. Highlights include the McMullen loghouse, considered to be the oldest existing structure in Pinellas County, and the Victorian-era Seven Gables House.

The Village - which is part of the Pinewood Cultural Park campus - features numerous permanent exhibits, such as Pinellas Passport: Your Ticket through Time, which focuses on the history of Pinellas County, andd Quick and Easy: Gadgets for the Home, which showcases labor-saving devices of the past. Heritage Village is also home to the Daniel McMullen Home for the Fiber Arts. Hands-on displays and activities are situated throughout the village, and traditional crafting demonstrations are held regularly.

Visitors can also explore the Shirley McPherson Nature Trail, which winds through a pine flatwoods habitat, home to numerous native plants and wildlife.

The Pinellas County Historical Society operates The Gift Shop at Heritage Village, which offers wooden toys, glassware, collectibles and reproductions, gifts, and more.

Homeschoolers can take part in the Heritage Village's Home School History Adventures, monthly themed programs that offer living history lessons and take place on the third Thursday, from 1pm-3pm. See website for additional details.

Themed birthday party packages are also available, starting at $75 for a 90-minute event.
