Hillcrest has both a convenient location and topnotch facilities going for it, making it a big draw for families, who use the fitness center, auditorium, indoor track, large gym, and meeting rooms and kitchen (which can be rented for parties), as well as the outdoor playgrounds, tennis court, and ball fields. The center hosts recreation and sports programming, leagues, classes, and events throughout the year, and an ice skating rink in winter. Hillcrest is also a S'more Fun Childcare site, providing low-cost summer programming for kids ages six to 12. Registration for limited spots begins at the center in March ($140/week; $31/day).
