If you'd like to get your child involved in dance class, but the more traditional ballet or tap are out of the question (maybe they're just not cool enough), check out Hip Hop Kidz. You may have seen the Hip Hop Kidz dance troupe in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, or at halftime during the Heat basketball games. Though the Performance Troupe is by invitation only, anyone can participate in the dance classes.

Classes are offered for children ages five through 19 years. Discounts are offered for more than one child enrolled in the program.

Hip Hop Kidz offers a Hip Hop theme party that is half entertainment and half interactive, appropriate for ages 4 years old to teenage, and are unique and one of a kind. Parties can be held at the home, their facility, or a park or party room. Parties run two hours and consist of a performance with the nationally-known Hip Hop Kidz Production Company dancers. Each party also includes a follow-along with the party-leader/choreographer who teaches party guests some of the latest hip hop moves to the most popular hip hop music. Interactive Hip Hop games are included. Parties are available in both Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

Multiple locations offer these classes throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. The types of classes available vary by location. Call the main office for locations and information.
