about Historic Webster Groves:

Along the streets of downtown Webster Groves resides more than 140 businesses, including cafes, specialty gift shops, and art galleries, many of which are housed in historic store fronts. Locals have dubbed the downtown area "Old Webster": Built in the early 1800s, it's now recognized as a national historic district.

getting there:

Located ten miles southwest from downtown St. Louis by taking I-44; exit at Elm Avenue. Go north on Elm to Lockwood Avenue. The business district runs east and west on Lockwood between South Rockhill Road and Plant Avenue, as well as on North Gore Avenue between Lockwood and Kirkham Road.
