Well Mark, unfortunately you are totally Wrong! I can tell you 100% that I am not the owner. I am a satisfied customer of HobbyTown Temecula, and the reason for my review was to defend the store as a customer. I am a regular customer at HobbyTown and have never experienced or witnessed any such rude or disrespectful behavior by the owner or the staff. I am in there at least once a month spending money that I could easily spend at Hobby People or online. I am shocked at the negative reviews and feel that they were probably brought on by rude customers. The problem with people that post reviews is that they are usually the whiners and complainers! I like to support my local hobby shop so that it stays in business and feel that is necessary to point out the the people of HobbyTown Temecula are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have dealt with the owner several times and he was never rude. Just yesterday I saw him taking the time to be very helpful to some customers that were obviously new to the hobby. So once again, I believe the negative reviews are coming form negative people and that it is rare that happy satisfied customers take the time to post positive reviews. "poor level of service I received. " Probably had to do with Your attitude ;)

Oh and by the way Mark, I am a parent and often take my son into HobbyPeople Temecula. He loves the Cars, Planes and Trains and the Owner has Never said anything to me or my son while in there looking at everything in the store.

racermike42: I don't know if you are the owner doing damage control through out the different websites that reveal numerous complaints about your business or you are a serious consumer. By the tone of your message you unfortunately sound alot like this very rude unprofessional owner and staff that MANY of us have voiced our complete dissatisfaction with. Then again, if you are just a customer perhaps that is the reason you get along so well with the staff of HobbyTown. If you are truly a happy customer I am glad that you have had good experiences at Hobby Town Temecula. I am only one of MANY who have voiced their complete displeasure with this business. The amazing thing is that out of all the negative reviews we all are saying the exact same thing. For those that care to verify the long list of complaints do a google search and read the Google reviews on this establishment. They range from being cursed at by the owner, staff that ignores and hangs up on customers, lack of knowledge, defective merchandise, lack of a reasonable return policy. Your attack on the length of time it took me to complete my original review has no connection to the poor level of service I received. If you hadn't jumped the gun with your snide remarks you would probably have noticed that I said it took an hour for me to register and write the review. It took almost 30 minutes to receive my access code and 30 minutes to write my review. Your unwarranted personal attack on my level of competency shows that you have a much more emotional connection to this issue, which is the reason I doubt you are merely just a customer. Also, as a parent I would think you would be at least a little concerned after reading the type of language and behavior that has taken place from this place of business. If your not concerned I find that a bit disturbing in and of itself. If your not a parent I question why you are posting reviews on "gocitykids.parentsconnect.com". I just happened to see these reviews again after searching for HobbyPeople in Temecula. I would highly recommend HobbyPeople Temecula over Hobby Town Temecula for those in need of hobby gear. Great staff and great products at Hobby People Temecula.

Well Mark if it really took you an hour to register here there must be a reason you had such a bad experience! In real life it takes about 2 minutes to register here to post a review. I am a regular customer at HobbyTown USA in Temecula and have never had a bad experience there. The staff is always helpful and unlike other hobby shops I have been to if the person can't answer my question they find someone that can. After all my visits to HobbyTown I have a really hard time believing MarksAir's review. HobbyTown USA Temecula is one of the best hobby shops I have been to, they have a wide variety of products for all types of hobbyists. They have great prices as well and are almost always within the best prices I can find on the internet. On my most recent visit I went in to buy a Spektrum DX7 transmitter, I wanted only the transmitter but the one they had in stock had the servos and receiver. I asked if I could just buy the transmitter and without hesitation the guys there opened the box and removed the items I didn't want. To me that is GREAT SERVICE!

BEWARE!! The RUDEST staff and OWNER I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. It was comforting to read the other negative reviews here and on google about this business. THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS YOU READ ARE ACCURATE- TRUST ME!! I thought that maybe my experiences were just bad luck. Remember that for someone to take the time and register and write a negative review their experience must have been extremely bad. I just spent an hour registering and writing this review. I am a very busy person and have no time to spend rating businesses, but felt that this was a very important review for all parents to read. The two previous visits at this business, I had unpleasant experiences with the owner. He acts bothered with questions as if he is doing you a favor talking to you. I would never have gone back, but I was in the area with my wife and son and we needed some parts for my sons helicopter and glue for his rockets. I saw a near identical remote control helicopter that my son flies and called my wife and son over to see it. The owner walked by us while my wife, five year old son and I were looking at the helicopter. My son gently touched the helicopters skid to see if it was metal or plastic because we were thinking of upgrading his helicopters skids. The very rude owner said to my son, "Is that yours?" My son of course replied in his usual shy way, "No." The very rude owner than said to my five year old son, "Well don't touch it!". The owner then picked up the helicpoter and stormed away. My wife and I were in total shock at the manner the owner spoke to our son right in front of us. I told my wife to take my son to the car and I had a little chat with this man. I told him that if he has a problem with my son to talk to me or my wife about it. My wife and I were supervising him the entire time and he did nothing innappropriate, In fact, I had my hands all over the helicopter more than the single touch my son made to the landing skids. The owner then had the nerve to tell me, "Maybe you should have better parenting skills." This owner has ZERO people skills and is on a major power trip. I would assume he more than likely has no kids, lives a miserable life and tries to make up for it by surrounding himself in the make believe fantasy world of modeling. My son is extremely responsible and careful, so much so that I sometimes wish he was more carefree as most five year olds normaly are. He owns three expensive remote control helicopter and flies them well. Perhaps it's in his genes since I have been a professional aviator for over 20 years : ). He also has a high quality remote control boat and a rare and expensive post-war Lionel train set passed down from 3 generations to him. He is respectful and responsible when dealing with these little machines. If you are a parent, I would not do business with HobbyTown Temecula and keep your children away from this inappropriately behaved owner. If you are not a parent and just looking for hobby related items, good luck... The three times I have been there, they never have the basic things I am looking for.

Extremely rude people that are more out to take your money than provide a service.
They sell used and defective toys and merchandise as new and will not honor and exchange or refund. When I tried to exchange a Christmas present my son got from Santa I was told by the owner to go screw myself!
