When the Stars came to Dallas from Minnesota in 1993, many natives could not imagine any kind of a fan base for professional hockey. After all, this was Cowboy country. But the city ponied up and has embraced this organization with enthusiasm since The Dallas Stars brought home the Stanley Cup in 1999. The Dallas Stars play at home at the American Airlines Center. The hockey season runs September-April. Single game tickets can be purchased at the American Airlines Center box office, any of the area Dr Pepper StarCenters, by phone, or online. Season tickets are available and offer deep discounts and perks including same seat options for Stanley Cup playoff games.
