Hodad's is the quintessential American hamburger joint. Its casual atmosphere, surfer decor, and rock music will get you there the first time. The excellent food is what will bring you back time and again. (Locals have been coming back for more than three decades!)
Fresh burgers and sandwiches, including mini-burgers and grilled cheese for the kids, are the best in town. Prices for entrees range from $2.75 to $8.75.
tips:
This is a great place to stop after a day in the sun at Ocean Beach. This place gets BUSY so reservations are a good idea for groups of ten or more.

From Nimitz Blvd or I-8 take Sunset Cliffs Blvd. Turn right on Newport Avenue.
