The only place in Atlanta where you can find outdoor ice skating is in Centennial Olympic Park! The ice skating rink features a three-inch thick sheet of real ice, covered observation seating, theatrical lighting on the ice, and decorative lighting in the trees surrounding the rink.
tips:
Getting to the Park is easy when riding MARTA and kids love the train! Simply take the West Line to the Philips Arena/Dome/GWCC Station (W-1), or take the North Line to Peachtree Center (N-1), and follow the signs to Centennial Olympic Park.
getting there:
Parking fees vary. From Downtown: Take I-75/85S to Williams Street (Exit 249C). Continue on Williams Street. Turn right onto Andrew Young International Blvd. Follow Andrew Young International Blvd. into the Park.
