About Hollywood Beach Theatre
Located on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk at Johnson Street, the Hollywood Beach Theatre offers musical performances to be enjoyed with starry nights and ocean breezes.
This open air performance facility is the only bandshell structure of its kind in Broward County. Bench seating is available for 500 people, and the beach boardwalk adjacent to the bandshell is used as a dance floor.
Throughout the year, weather permitting, three musical series are presented here, from 7:30pm-9pm. First, on Mondays, the Theater Under the Stars features music for dancing from days gone by. Tuesdays, Dancing in the Moonlight features family-oriented music from standards to classics to line dancing. Wednesdays, enjoy everything from country to rock & roll to blues & R&B. Culturally-themed programs take place at the facility on the second and fourth Fridays of each month as part of Broadwalk Friday Fest.
