The Homestead YMCA offers before and afterschool care, day care, sports programs, and camp. Before school is from 7am-8:30am at local schools, Monday through Friday, for $15 per week. Afterschool programs include homework help, indoor/outdoor games, and arts & crafts. These programs run from 2pm-6pm, Monday through Friday, for $29 per week, and require a $30 annual membership fee in addition to the weekly rate. The day care center for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years runs from 6:30am-6pm Monday through Friday. Children ages 6 weeks through 18 months pay $112 per week; 18 months to 3 years pay $94 per week; and children ages 3 to 5 years pay $89 per week. Teens from 12 to 17 are offered leadership programs through this facility. Sports offered include basketball, swim team, football, cheerleading, gymnastics, roller hockey, martial arts, and dancing. Swimming lessons are offered at this location for children ages 6 months and up. Camp for 4 to 12 year olds takes place from 9am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. Before care (7:15am-9am) and after care (4:30-6pm) is offered at no extra charge. Children participate in swimming, arts & crafts, and sports. The charge for camp is $88 per week (program members who have paid $30 annual fee) or $66 per week (facility members who pay to join the YMCA facility at this location).
