The views of the city, Coronado Bay Bridge, and Big Bay are spectacular from the water - both during the day and at night - assuming the weather is cooperating.
Harbor Cruises include one- and two-hour trips that take in the North Bay, South Bay or both. We recommend the one-hour cruise for families with younger children; it provides enough time to see the sights without overkill.
Kids will get a kick out of seeing the helicopters zipping to and from the North Island Naval Complex; sea lions also pose for close-ups for the tourists while lounging on the docks near the submarine station. Along the way, guests hear facts and trivia about San Diego and its landmarks.

tips:
Reservations are not required; head to the ticket booth on Harbor Drive, but do plan to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of your sailing.
getting there:
Take I-5 to the Font Street exit. Continue on Front Street until Ash Street. Turn right onto Ash Street. Turn left at North Harbor Drive. Metered parking is available across the street from the Hornblower Ticket Booth.
