Let's start with dessert! At this age-old Houston haunt, the name says it all. Among the more than 40 types of desserts at House of Pies are pies, cakes, and cookies, including just about any type of pie imaginable. The glass case features fresh fruit pies - strawberry, cherry, blueberry, apple, sugar-free apple, sugar-free cherry, and many others - banana cream, chocolate cream, key lime, lemon meringue, chocolate meringue, Texas pecan, Texas pecan fudge...we could go on and on. Cakes (no, we're not finished with dessert yet) include chocolate fudge cake, tres leches cake, carrot cake, banana pudding cake, and various cheesecakes. Pies and cakes are available whole or by the slice.

The rest of the menu features classic diner fare such as burgers, patty melts, blt sandwiches, fish 'n' chips, and chicken and steak dinners. Breakfast is served anytime, with varieties of pancakes, eggs, omelettes, and waffles.

The kids' menu includes grilled cheese, corn dogs, pancake breakfast plates, and more. High chairs and booster seats are available.
