First of all, the front office is very friendly and helpful. They always greet you with a smile. Secondly, we have taken classes and summer camps and have had a fun, educational, and safe experience. My daughter's coaches were always very happy to see her and really cared about her.

We have had a wonderful experience at Houston Gymnastics Academy. The front office women are so helpful and nice. Their class program is organized and my daughter has learned so much. We love the coaches. I would recommend all of their programs.

I've had my kid there from 2006-2009 on the women's team and I must say, this gym has horrible office politics. It is clear there is some, as people say, "drama" issues here. The good coaches they had, they are always firing. My daughter have had 5 different team coaches throughout her 3 years there.

Also, beware of the summer time. Their AC seems to never work the three years we were there during Houston's summer 90+ degree heat.

...enrolled in summer 2007. It was her first time doing this and she enjoyed it. The coach did a good job with the girls (they were all beginners, I believe). But the staff was not very personable. I think it's because I wasn't a regular, so they kind of answered any questions of mine with a bit of an "I don't care to help you" attitude.

I am not sure what is happening here. Their girls gymnastics program is shrinking, they fired some coaches for cutting kids from the team two weeks before the first meet, rehired the same two coaches and then those coaches waited until 1 day before their 1st meet and cut some kids from the meet. This is after all non-refundable meet entry and meet coaches fees were paid and the girls were told they made the cut... They have some serious internal and public relations issues to work out. I expect them to loose most of their level 3-5 team to other gyms and will have to rebuild with unknowing new parents

I wish they would offer summer camps or programs for special needs kids. I have 2 sons, ages 6 and 8, both with autism that love sports activities.
