The Special Events Site more commonly known as Howe Meadow sits on the southern end of Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP), hosting a wide variety of (no surprise here) special events, from concerts and festivals to sports and recreation activities, Junior Ranger programs, family hikes, and the like.
One important thing to know about Howe Meadow is that it's big. If you plan to meet folks at an event there, be specific about where you intend to meet. It's also flat, so consider bringing an extra or waterproof ground cloth - even days after a shower and long after the ground "seems" dry, water can seep into through your blanket.
