Huizenga Park, formerly known as Bubier Park, is located along the river in the heart of old Fort Lauderdale, and has undergone a major rejuvenation that includes the construction of a bandshell for outdoor concerts and movie showings. Offering bleacher seating for 150-200 people and lawn seating for many more, the bandshell is a terrific outdoor venue.
The 2.5 acre park is in close proximity to The Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Riverwalk, The Museum of Discovery and Science, and the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art.
