Watch football with a fine view of Union Bay at the home of the University of Washington Huskies. The Waterfront Activities Center is also located here. The Huskies' season runs Aug-Nov.

tips:

Over 70% of the seats at the stadium are located between the end zones, making this one of the loudest stadiums in the nation (once recorded at 130 decibels.) If you bring kids, bring ear protection.

getting there:

From I-5: Take the NE 45th Street exit (#169). Head east on NE 45th. Continue east to 15th Avenue NE. Turn right. Head south about six blocks to NE Pacific Street. Turn left, staying in left-hand lane. Continue east to first left turn; the road makes a Y at that traffic light. Turn left onto NE Pacific Place. Continue to Montlake Boulevard. Parking: On game days, parking restrictions and strategies are endless, and lot prices can be sky-high. The best source of information is the UW's parking and directions web page. Public transportation: Ticket holders ride free on Metro on game days. Just show the drive your ticket stub.
