The Hyde Park Art Center offers a good variety of art classes for kids.

From portraits, puppets, and masks, to ceramics, the young Picasso in your family is bound to find something inspirational among the Center's offerings.

The students, working by themselves or with a parent under teacher supervision, explore ways to draw, paint, construct and mold. All supplies are included in the course fees.

All classes for school age children meet in the afternoon after school hours during the week, or on Saturday mornings.

Special classes for homeschooling are also available.

Membership per year is $45/individual, $55/family. Member benefits include discounts on classes and in several art supply stores.

Birthday Parties: The Art Center is available to host children's birthday parties on Sunday afternoons. Teaching artists offer exciting art workshops for groups of 12 or less. Call in advance to arrange your day.
