It's cool (literally), it's big, and you don't have to be a pro to try out the ice. Public skating is offered as well as figure skating. Youth and adult hockey leagues and tournaments are popular, too. Many of the coaches are world- and Olympic-class athletes.

Dress warmly, it gets cold in there! Jackets, gloves, and hats are recommended.
