The Institute for the Development of African-American Youth (IDAAY) Beacon Center is a community organization that aims to encourage families to stay connected and get involved with the community. The center offers a variety of Family Preservation Classes, including modeling, hip-hop dance, credit recovery for high school students, and more; intramural basketball leagues for kids ages nine to 14 are also available. All programs are free and take place at Wagner Middle School. Contact the Beacon Center for more details and a complete list of program offerings.
