In Grandma's Attic is a ballet-oriented, fantasy-dance program for children ages two through 12, offered and created by Deborah Bailay, formerly of the prestigious
Washington School of the Ballet. It is designed to nurture a dance student from their early years of pre-ballet training through their first and second years of beginning levels of ballet.
Students explore the look and feel of ballet as a performance art for the stage with the use of costumes, headpieces, props, scenery, fairytales, and classical ballet stories. The curriculum incorporates age-appropriate dance training with elements of literacy in the grand tradition of ballet story-telling.
Specialty Workshops are often held during school breaks;
birthday parties are offered year-round. Contact
