about Indian Creek Camp Park:

Indian Creek Camp Park the largest in the St. Charles County Parks Department's system. It boasts prairie land, vast wooded hills, and protected habitats for deer, turkey, quail, and other wildlife found inside the park. Archaeological evidence shows that the site was settled by several American Indian communities in the Mississippian Period (A.D. 1000 to 1400).

The park offers a lovely nature-themed playground, a fishing pond, and several miles of multi-use, natural trails for biking, hiking, and equestrian day-use.

getting there:

Located at the confluence of Big Creek and Indian Camp Creek in northwestern St. Charles County. From I-70, go north on Highway 61 for approximately seven miles to Dietrich Road. Turn left (west) on Dietrich Road to the park entrance.
