Inglewood offers story hours for kids; public computers with Internet access; a summer reading program; beautiful fish tanks and a fireplace; and a well-rounded collection of adult and juvenile books, including best sellers, mysteries, how-to, health, business, college information, and series. Your library card is good at all 21 locations of the Public Library of Nashville and Davidson County. With it, you will have free access to more than 740,000 books, 19,000 books on tape, and 4,000 music CDs - with new titles arriving daily. You will also have access to more than 12,000 recreational and educational videos. Library cards are free to all residents of Davidson County and persons living within the Goodlettsville city limits. To obtain a library card, you must present an ID with your current address (call 862.5790 for details). Free cards are available to Metro employees. Cards are also available to nonresidents for $25 per year.

getting there:

If coming from the north on Gallatin Road (from Madison and Briley Parkway), the library's on the first street on the left after the traffic light at Broadmoor Drive and Isaac Litton Middle School. If coming from the south on Gallatin Road (from downtown or East Nashville), take the second street on the right after the traffic light on Riverwood Drive and the fire department.
