It is disheartening to see that a former disgruntled employee is trying to discredit the school through anonymous postings. Cambridge is a phenomenal school that has been a wonderful experience for my child. The curriculum reflects the latest research, innovative practices, and forward-thinking approaches in preschool education. The teachers are outstanding, and the director is extremely responsive and involved, constantly keeping up with the latest research and best practices. The children thrive in this environment, which is small and family-like. Each and every staff member knows my child and is invested in her learning, well-being, and happiness. My child is exposed to all facets of learning each week, from creative movement to Mandarin, Spanish, art, science, phonics, math, and music. I have experience with several preschools in Atlanta, including one that is widely regarded to be among "the best," yet I can say that hands down, Cambridge is far superior to any other preschool out there.

We are not happy with the school. The tour and first few months were great. They were so attentive ad overly proud of what they offer for our children. But once the honeymoon was over, we realized how many issues we had. There is very little supervision outside, and the office seems to be so disorganized. They would say one thing and then do another. They talked a great game but did not deliver. It was a major disappointment.

I agree with the reviewer below. Couldn't have said it better so I wint try. We have been with the school since the very beginning. Our daughter has not only flourished but a passion for books has been somehow ignited. She walked in knowing most of the alphabet but now thanks to her great teacher is reading. We are so sad that we are moving to NY and will miss all of the staff, the generous and kind director and her family. Leaving Cambridge feels like we are leaving old friends..... I always felt that my child was part of something special. The sky is the limit, Ms Suzanne and team.

This school is absolutely wonderful (I can say this after having thoroughly reviewed all the full time preschools in Buckhead). My kids have been at home with a nanny going to morning preschool at Peachtree Presbyterian (where we were extremely happy). But it was time for them to do a longer program as they got older, so I set out to look into all the full time programs in Buckhead. I did a lot of research, I visited all the schools (Suzuki, Creme de la Creme, Goddard, Open Arms, and of course Cambridge...) and I interviewed with every one of them, and I ended up chosing Cambridge hands down. Here were my findings: Suzuki had too many kids per class, the teachers don't even have to have a bachelors degree, and the playground was a small square of concrete (made me wonder "why is it so expensive"?). Creme was dark and what they call "computer class" means having the kids in front of a video - made me think "what else are they overclaiming"?. Open Arms is supposed to be have very caring staff which i don't doubt, but the menu made me want to throw up (pizza, burger, fries, burger pizza... and start again... and the admissions office smelled of McDonalds), not a lesson I want to teach my children (eat junk every day). Goddards tend to be in office buildings so the playgrounds are small and face car smokey parking lots. SO I ended up visiting Cambridge three times! and evey time I went the more I liked it!. The facilities are open, happy, big and light. The teachers are wonderful. The two playgrounds are big and great. They have languages (Spanish and Mandarin). They do art, and creative movement. The curriculum is age appropriate, and they place a lot of emphasis on healthy eating with organic food prepared on site every day and they encourage the kids to eat their veggies. This school is just starting but the principal has the right vision and will do great things. My kids absolutely love it!

LOVE this school. My daughter is in the pre-k class and has absolutely blossomed this year. She loves going to school, she has the vocabulary of a much older child and she is already sounding out small words. The facility itself is large, clean and colorful. I couldn't be happier with the staff. The director is very hands on and the teachers have been so caring and good with my daughter. I couldn't be more pleased!

My son attends this school and I LOVE it! So much love and care with great attention to safety. He is learning his numbers, colors, animals etc. and has developed a love of books that was not present before. I love my son's teacher and the Director is innovative and truly child centered. I understand the concern anytime a staff member leaves (and this happens everywhere) but I find the reassurance is in how the school handles it. At Cambridge it went well, the main focus was the benefit of the children so I was pleased. All in all, great school, definitely recommend it!

I've been reading all these postings with a lot of interest as well and feel that a school could not be better. How many schools in the area teach phonics to 18 month olds (in a fun way, not a way that turns them off to learning)? The space is indeed large and beautiful and I love that, as parents, we know exactly what happens through the fantastic Ning board. I see my child every day through photos and videos. I love that the director knows our child's name and the teacher calls if we are absent. The staff turnover has been nothing like what we experienced at our last preschool. In fact, I believe the same lead teachers are here that have been since September (which is great). I am impressed with the care given to our child and love that I received so many art projects. I think I echo most parents when I say that this is a special school and we are lucky to be part of it.

I have been reading all the postings with a lot of interest. My child attended this school. I think that it is, like most things, not all bad and not all good either. The good is the space; it is large and beautiful. Also, some of the ideas sounded very appealing, almost too good actually. They talked a lot about what they were going to do. The bad is simply that we just didn't see all the wonderful ideas in action. If the kids are mostly going to play freely, that is fine. I just wish they had told us. I think kids can learn so much more than we think. It does not have to be overly structured. It can be creative and fun, but I felt, in the end, that it was a lot more talk than action. It made me sad because on paper, it really is wonderful, and there are some good people there. Although I hear that there have been a lot of teachers and helpers leaving. I don't really know the details of why. I hope this helps you find the right school.

I am a parent at Cambridge International Preschool and have two children enrolled in the school â?? my daughter is in the pre-K class and my son is in the Rising 4 class, and he will be attending pre-K next year. Overall, it has been an incredibly positive experience for all of us, and both of my children are thriving at school. I noticed that some of the reviews here have pointed to â??gapsâ?? in the curriculum and/or lack of a track record, but those issues havenâ??t had any material impact on our experience. In full disclosure, I am a person who smiles to herself when someone discusses the concept of a preschool curriculum. For me, preschool is supposed to address socialization with other children and authority figures and instill a life-long love of learning and exploring our world which I think that can be accomplished through any sort of â??curriculumâ??. In addition, we moved to Atlanta last summer, and I chose the school site unseen and based on internet research and correspondence with the directors of each school I was looking into. I was drawn to Cambridge based on its focus on languages and international issues, incorporating healthy eating into the experience by providing a homemade, organic lunch and the founderâ??s passion for her new endeavor. My daughter attended an established preschool in Los Angeles for two years before we moved to Atlanta. It ran like a well-oiled machine, but the director there did not know the names, much less anything about the personalities, of the majority of the children who attended. So, being a newbie in town, I am thrilled that I have found a school that has also provided a community for our family. Each of their teachers is fantastic. The facility is impressive and, for all of my scoffing at the concept of a curriculum, it really has sparked a love of learning in both children. Based on the schoolâ??s use of Zoophonics, my daughter has gone from recognizing all of her letters to understanding the sounds that letters make, and she now can write out entire sentences phonetically and recognize scores of words, and my son now knows all the letters/sounds of the alphabet. Both children also love learning Spanish and Mandarin, and learning about cities around the world. Most importantly, they are happy to go to school in the morning, happy when I pick them up and ask countless questions of me when they are not in school. I will say that there have been kinks along the way as some other teachers have come and gone and it is a loose environment so you and your children have to be comfortable with tweaks here and there, but frankly Iâ??m proud that our family is involved in the â??ground floorâ?? of a new school with big ambitions. As I said above, overall it has been an incredibly positive experience and I encourage anyone interested to tour the school and ask to speak to parents whose children are enrolled.

Cambridge International is an amazing school!! From the beautifully decorated classrooms and the awesome International room...the school is bright/colorful and fantastic. The teachers are smart, kind, loving and caring human beings; who love teaching all of the kids each and everyday! Its so brilliant my daughter is speaking Spanish, creating beautiful art, learning about science, and singing and dancing. I love the fact that my daughter loves school and is very eager to learn something new everyday. Being a first time parent it was hard to let go and be strong enough to send my daughter to school everyday instead of having her at home...however everyone from the teachers, director, and families were very welcoming and helped make the process an easy transition. I love knowing that my daughter is happy and enjoying herself each and everyday. Guess what else??? The teachers take pictures throughout the day and post them so that I can see the special moments and memories while I am away. I think that is so incredible. I am so happy that our family found Cambridge International School. It is a Fantastic place to send your children and a wonderful atmosphere to be apart of!!!

We are new to this school but so far, it has been a wonderful experience. Caring teachers and great variety in the curriculum. I looked at a lot of schools and found this one of the best in our area. The director does a terrific job in listening to your needs and answering questions. I did not find that at any other schools. I would highly recommend taking a look at Cambridge.

I have been visiting various preschools in the area, including this one. I have to say that compared to some of the other schools, there seemed to be some gaps and inconsistencies in the curriculum. It is a very new school and while that is not necessarily bad, I would let this school get some more experience before sending my child there. Hope this helps in your school search!

Compared to other preschools in the area, I would have to say that this one falls short. Perhaps with some more experience, it will turn around. But as of now, I would recommend a more established school. And there are plenty of excellent schools in the area. Hope this helps in your search!

Thank you for making my son's preschool experience so special. We were at a birthday yesterday and he was the only child who know all of his ABCs and what the letters said. He is 2.5 years old and there were 3 year olds at the party. Such a proud moment but I know it all to you. Thank you so very much for your dedication and care.

It is a wonderful school with passionated teachers and lovely children! The director pours all her heart on to the children and strives for the best for the children and families!

My daughter attends the Pre-K class at Cambridge International Preschool of Buckhead. My experiences with the school have been great! This is hers (and our) first experience in a preschool; it is the perfect fit or her! The school environment is warm, caring and safe! The teachers are nurturing, friendly individuals who seem to really care about the kids! My daughter has learned so much in such a short time: for Instance- she has learned how to write her name, the sound each letter makes, last week she learned the 7 continents through a catchy little tune (that I will remember!), Spanish , Mandarin and gets to dance with a former rockett! I have nothing but great things to say about the school! The school has only been open for 5 months and they have done an incredible job! As with any new business/ school of course they are going to have a minor kinks but, nothing like comments made by the other person! I have been a parent since the day the school opened, attended PTA meetings and frequently speak with the director; none of the issues presented have I had a problem with or have any parents expressed at the meetings. I suggest you try the school out for yourself, go on a tour and see what they have to offer!

We've been here for just over a month but I cannot tell you how happy we are with this school. My child's teacher has done whatever it took to make her life at a new school (new city!) easy. They do ZooPhonics at this school so imagine my surprise when I saw my little 2.4 month old learning how to recognize a B and what it says! Fantastic! The Director is so inviting and helpful and the school is clean, there are different rooms that they work in (art, science and language rooms) and the gym. I cannot get my daughter to leave most days. Thank you, Cambridge for being such a great school.

I searched for a preschool for my son for months and months before I came to know Cambridge. All the other schools just never seemed to fit the picture I had in my head for what I wanted for him. What a relief when I found Cambridge! The director is genuinely interested in the well being of each child in her care. The teachers are all wonderful are so knowledgeable of bringing up little ones. I am never concerned about leaving my son in their care, and he has learned so much in the few months that he has been there. Thank you so much for such a wonderful school. I sincerely hope that we can be with you for many more years.

I could never imagine not crying my eyes out on my daughters first day of school, but i actually left with a huge smile on face after her first day of preschool at Cambridge. The director pours her heart into everything, when you walk into her office you feel more like your walking into her home. I cant say ENOUGH about her teacher, she is amazing. Its only been a few months and my daughter already sings happy birthday in mandarin, hokey pokey in spanish and has beautiful plants in recycled pots in her window from science. I love the fact that school is so secure, no one can just walk in unless they know who you are! The group of children in her class are absolutely precious, they all seem to be great influences on each other. This school has exceeded all of my expectations, and most importantly my little girl loves everything about it and cant wait to get there everyday!! thank you Cambridge.

The Cambridge International Preschool will no doubt reach the stars! An on site owner who cares, a grand vision already being realized and a comprehensive curricula like no other. Like minded families will find their place in this carefully planned academic and child centered paradise. No child will go unnoticed in the best new addition to the Buckhead learning community. Kudos to the owner, the founder of its Preschool curricula and the incredible staff, who as a team will quickly rise to the top, bringing every child with them! I can't wait to see the dance of little steps, smiles and hearts immersed in a well delivered program!

Buckhead is lucky to be getting this school and so are we. The space is massive. Outdoors is gigantic and the owners plans are so right on the money. I skip to work each day knowing that soon our son will be in this school. Kudos to the founder and Director up at Buckhead. You've made a gorgeous school.

My grandson has been attending the Virginia Highlands location for 3 years now and I am so incredibly impressed with how much he has learned. He knows Spanish, Japanese and a little German. We carry on conversations about everything under the sun and, although I know my daughter is a great mother, this school is the reason. The curriculum was developed by the founder and is continually changed based on research on how children learn. This is a wonderful school, I highly recommend it and very glad to see it appear on the list of best preschools in Atlanta.
