about Inwood Hill Park:

Unlike Central Park, Inwood Hill Park is made up of natural woodlands and forest, rather than a planned green space. It's also home to a terrific salt marsh, in fact, Inwood Hill Park is the last natural forest and salt marsh in Manhattan.

The Nature Center, located at 218th and Indian Road, is open Wed-Sun from 11am-4pm. The center serves as a starting point for walking tours and a workshop site for educational programs for all ages.
