"The
Gardner Museum is a marvelous frame that captures the drama of space, character and time," says author and storyteller Jay O'Callahan. "It invites drama - moonlight, sunlight, shadow, sky, sound, smell, and an endless stream of characters."
The
Museum often holds concerts, lectures, and special exhibits. The museum is a work of art itself. Housed in a Venetian-inspired palace, turned inside-out and surrounding an ever-changing courtyard garden, the museum's collection spans more than 30 centuries and features artworks by Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Raphael, Botticelli, Degas and Sargent.
Family/Dual Membership is $85, and includes unlimited free admission for two cardholders and accompanying children under eighteen.
