Wow! This place is the best! Clean, comfortable, lots of toys, wonderful lesson plans, children learn new things and bring home things that the've made every day. The teachers are very warm and professional, and let me know how my kid is doing. They provide homemade breakfast, lunch, snacks, bedding - all I have to do is give them a backpack with diapers and clothes, really nice for a single mom like me.

I spoke with Jeanne on the phone inquiring about her day care center and taking a tour. Her phone demeanor was less than warm and her professionalism was lacking. Perhaps she has a wonderful day care center once you get past her.

My two year old daughter attends Jeanne's Day Care and has been for over 6 months now. We couldn't be happier. The email below from "Kore", definitely does not sound like the Jeanne I know. I also find it interesting that all the other reviews are excellent except for this one. I don't know where my daughter or I would be without Jeanne's day care!

My child goes to Jeanne's daycare, and I wanted to share my experience with you. In one sentence, it has been fantastic. There has always been attention to detail and great care about rules and regulations for safety. What is most magnificent though is how passionate Jeanne and Diamond are about the child care, and how great the teaching has been.

My daughter, Storm, will turn 6 in September. She began going to Jeanne's when she was 11 months. We were not in favor of daycare and we took her to Jeanne's with reluctance. What we soon discovered was the tremendous amount of socializing and learning that simply can't happen in a one-on-one environment. Upon entering Kindergarten, Storm knew her alphabet and numbers and was understanding words that put her way ahead of many peers. Not a prodigy, just a bright kind in a great environment. In addition, she progressed very quickly and easily when it came to things like potty training, cleaning her hands, understanding rules of play and many other things as well.

I could write for days about all the goodness, for I now consider Jeanne and Diamond among my close friends.

I recently relocated as a single parent from New York City to Los Angeles with my 17 month old daughter, Ava. I was fortunate enough to have found Jeanne's Day Care after endless hours of research online. Ava started part-time, 3 days a week for the first few months. I knew it was the right decision when after the first couple of weeks, once out of the car, she would literally RUN towards the entrance.


About 2.5 months ago, I enrolled Ava in the full-time program. My daughter is now 22 months old and has learned a tremendous amount from being around the other children. Almost everyday Ava comes home and says a new word or sings a song that I haven't taught her. I love it. I'd also like to point out that Jeanne keeps all the parents in the loop via email with pictures and videos. As a matter of fact, today I received an email stating that Ava used the potty today! Ava also has the best manners and I owe this to Jeanne. She almost always says please and thank you at all the appropriate times. She is a happy, social child and I know this is as a result of the care that she receives at Jeanne's.


Another wonderful thing about Jeanne's is that they are very flexible in regards to your time, as long as you keep them in the loop. There have a been a few occasions where I was running late from work and with just one call to Jeanne's, they had no problem keeping her later than expected. Unfortunately I work very long hours but I can't tell you how at ease I am knowing that Ava is in their care. Not to mention the evening care that they provide. It's nice to be able to go out on the town every now and then and know that your child is being well cared for.


I am a VERY picky parent. I want only the best for my daughter and Jeanne's has been a HUGE blessing in my life. Both Jeanne, her husband Diamond and the rest of the incredible staff, are awesome!

I was very enthusiastic about Jeanne's daycare after reading all the rave reviews on this site. I was visiting LA for just over a month, and wanted a nice environment for my 2 year old, and over the phone Jeanne accepted my request. When I went to visit her (at the scheduled day and time) In lue of "hello" I was immediately called upon the fact that I came at a bad time (albeit it was the arranged time). Jeanne then proceeded to show me around the day care with obvious annoyance (she was in the middle of her circle time) and was not willing to let my two year old touch any of the toys (until he enrolled). With the exception of the playground which seemed great, I was immediately surprised by how grubby everything looked: the toys were old and seemed very stained, the resting room was small and things were all piled up in grubby bins.
As I am from another country, I admittedly asked Jeanne specific questions (obvious to her but not to me) on how the Day care worked (in America things are very different than from where I come from) and I could sense her increasing irritation with me. She insisted that I decide then and there if I wanted to enroll my son, and if so I had to give her the deposit immediately. At the end of the conversation, and after I had handed her the deposit (no receipt) I then reminded her (as I had told her over the phone) that my son, 2 years old, understood but did not SPEAK English but instead spoke Arabic - It was as if I had landed a bombshell on her. She literally walked out of the room to where the other children were, and took up her class without so much as saying another word to us. I was dumbfounded. I stood there stupidly, not believing her hostility. I left feeling utterly uncomfortable and unwilling to leave my son there, yet fearful I would not find a suitable place for him. My gut discomfort made me call her the next morning and cancel my enrollment, for which I got insulted (literally). I demanded my deposit back, she initially refused until I pointed out to her that legally she HAD to return it. After 20 days passed and I had not heard from her, I contacted the Local BBB and through their intervention, I managed to get my deposit back (a total of 1 month later).
I can understand when two people don't click, but Jeanne claims she is a professional service provider, and as such any feelings she has towards her clients she should be clever and delicate enough to keep to herself. Jeanne's attitude was incomprehensible and absolutely awful, and I'd sooner have kept my son at home the whole time than let him be in such a hostile environment. I visited other Day Care centers of variable standards, and asked the same general questions: NO-ONE treated me the way Jeanne did. I did enroll my son in a wonderful Day Care, where he was very happy and where I will happily take him back on my next visit.

Both my husband and I began our careers in education. I am an assistant principal at a middle school. Your preschool provides all the features of an excellent home day care we have been searching for. We really need some piece of mind while we are at work. I found her on go city kids. Jeanne's Daycare is now a LAUP - Los Angeles Universal Preschool. This means that any child between the ages of 4 and 5 can receive low cost or even free daycare for 3 1/2 hours a day! AND there's no income requirement!!! I've already signed up for September to get her ready for kindergarten next year. These are the nicest people, the most beautiful facility, and will teach your kid the basics in math, reading, science and well as socialization and have fun while learning in a preschool environment.

Jeanne's Daycare is now a designated LOS ANGELES UNIVERSAL PRESCHOOL - LAUP, and is the only Family Daycare in West Los Angeles with this high ranking. LAUP is a state subsidized program that allows 4-year olds to go to a quality preschool half-day program to get them ready for kindergarten. This program is free or low cost for eligable families.

Now offering afterschool, evening and overnight care for children 8 months to school age - pick up from local schools, snacks, homework help, healthy homemade dinner, play in huge playground or playroom with lots of toys, bedtime stories, mats, bedding - everything except for a toothbrush and pajamas!

Jeanne's Daycare is known to be THE BEST daycare on the Westside - go see for yourself -happy kids, beautiful environment, huge yard and play area, lots of activities each day. The staff is exceptional - loving and kind to all the children.

It got so bad I could not get him to go in, he would cry and screem, but thank god that we found a wonderful babysitter and can't get him to go home : )

Our child is thriving at Jeannes Daycare. Very low stress environment that encourages learning at one's own level, which makes it fun. Don't focus on the well-loved toys, consider what is important for your child. This place is so warm and diverse without trying.

You can stop looking on the Westside. This is the BEST place for your child (ren). My son has been there now for 15 months and LOVES going every day. It is a bargain for a licensed, accredited daycare on the Westside with hot meals that teaches toilet training and has arts and crafts, circle time, special projects and a huge back yard. They celebrate birthday parties and all of the holidays so your child will not be left out. My son has special needs and they are GREAT about working with his speech therapist and watching him for seizures. Plus, you can pay weekly instead of pre-paying the entire month like other daycares. All the kids look really happy and my little girl is always excited to tell me all the things she does every day: art projects, songs, big back yard, etc. They pay attention to the little things, too, that are important to me, like teaching manners, potty training, letting me know if there is anything I need to be aware of.

What kid wouldn't love a daycare with a gigantic play yard, daily arts and crafts, healthy meals that kids love like spagetti or mac and cheese, loving care and fun activities. The parents love the potty training, educational curriculum and clean setting.

Lots of activities for older kids, huge play yard, arts and crafts, educational activities and healthy meals and snacks. Clean playroom. Nice people. We have our speach therapist work with our daughter on a weekly basis there, other people have their physical therapist meet their son at this location. It is amazing how much the children learn - alphabet, number, colors...it really prepares them for kindergarder.

The kids love going here. It is clean and safe and on top of that, educational and fun!

I was impressed on how happy the kids are, how clean the place is, all the educational activities she has them doo (coloring, letters, numbers, puzzels), the home cooked meals - this place is really great!

Daily arts and crafts, early literacy program, atttentive, loving staff, huge play yard, nutricious, hot meals and snacks, very clean and organised. Jeanne's Daycare has been chosen by First 5 LA as one of the best daycares in West Los Angeles!
