Located at the John Story Jenks Elementary School, Jenks Playground is one of the most popular spots for kids in Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy - and with good reason. The community-built playground has plenty to offer kids of all ages.
The toddler section has a sand box that is always supplied with shovels, buckets, and giant dump trucks. It also has plenty of wooden structures to climb on, swings, slides, and some giant bells to play. The section for older kids has different levels of wood structures, complete with kid-friendly slides, tunnels, swings, and ropes to keep children occupied for hours.
Benches are available for weary parents, and the area is fenced, allowing for supervised play.
