Jennifer Lee specializes in portraiture of newborns, babies, children, families, maternity, and celebrations. An instructor of photography at the JCC in Manhattan, and a mother of two, she has been photographing children for over 10 years. Jennifer shoots on film (seemingly a rarity these days!) including color, black and white, and sepia. Sessions are available in Jennifer's Upper West Side studio or on location within the tri-state area of NY, NJ, and CT.

Additional services include the design of cards for all occasions, photo albums, custom jewelry, and other gift items.

Besides her extraodinary talent and artistic ability, she has that special touch with children to get them to cooperate and be wonderful subjects. Her patience and perseverence help to capture the perfect photographs!

Jennifer is THE best! She took my all-time favorite photo of my all-time favorite daughter! (In truth - she's my ONLY daughter and she's a beauty!) Jen took a picture of my girl in kindergarten holding a colorful bouquet of plastic flowers close to her cheek. Adorable! I treasure that photo still - 6 years later!!

Jennifer is a true talent and a real pro. Her talent and creativity is rivaled only by her patience and her persistence. Photographing four young children, (a beautiful mom) and a squirrely father can't be easy but that's just how she makes it look. Our Christmas cards are always the topic of conversation throughout the year because of Jennifer's artistry and professionalism.

Jennifer has taken yearly photos of my children since they were infants (oldest is now 10!). She is incredibly talented, patient and calming. Her photos are hung all over my home and guests always comment on how Jennifer's photos truly capture the spirit of each child at every stage of life. I highly recommend her.

Jennifer is talented, professional, and patient with the kids. One of the best experiences I had was when my children came to Jennifer's studio, sick and tired from a day in the city. To be kind they didn't look their best. When I first saw the photos I was stunned at how they came out. Nothing short of a miracle worker.

Jennifer is one of the most outstanding photographers I have ever met. She has done family portraits, my kids pictures, my school (I was a school administrator) and holiday cards. Jennifer takes the most amazing photos of my children. She has been doing our holiday cards and portraits for years, and somehow, each year is even more amazing than the one before! Even when during the photo shoot it seems as though the kids are not cooperating (one year my son even had a fever), she manages to get so many beautiful photos, I have trouble choosing. She has an incredible talent for capturing all that I love about my children in gorgeous photos that I will cherish forever.

Jennifer has a special talent for making kids (and parents!) feel comfortable in front of her camera. She gets shots that really capture my daughters personality. We have used Jennifer to take photos for our daughter's birth announcement and for our holiday card every year. She helps pick out the best photos and will help design a truly unique card. I always get a ton of great feedback! She is easygoing and fun to work with; I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for professional, unique portraits of their family or children.

Jennifer has been taking pictures of my son since he was 6 days old (and before if you count the beautiful maternity shots she did of me). Not only is she a talented photographer, but she is so patient and always gets the best out of my little guy. I can't imagine using anyone else for portraits, invitations, or holiday cards.
