The Jewish Community Association of Austin (JCAA) offers a wide variety of services for children, teens, and families. The facility's Early Childhood Program serves children two months to four years old, and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children - while afterschool programs are available for school kids up to eighth grade. Summer camps and school-break camps feature sports, arts and crafts, field trips, and more.
Classes for kids throughout the year include art, sports, dance, drama, and swimming, among others. The JCAA also hosts several performing arts programs that are open to the public.
The JCAA also has a program called the PJ Library, which mails brand new, age-appropriate Jewish children's books and music CDs each month to participating families with children ages six months to six years old. The books and CDs are not "checked out" - rather, they are for the families to keep.
