With its eclectic fisherman's style decorations, and the wild hats the waiters and waitresses sometimes wear, Joe's Crab Shack is place the whole family can enjoy. In addition to the crabs, steak, pasta, and many other choices on the menu, entertainment is supplied by the wait staff, who break into impromptu dance numbers periodically throughout the day. If you're feeling a little adventurous, you're welcome to join in!
Trying to feed the family while pinching pennies? Come on a $2 Tuesday Night when the kids' menu items (except the snow crab) are just $2.
The magnet for kids is the large playground tucked behind glass walls (to deaden the sound) so they can release some energy while Mom and Dad keep an eye on them from the table. (Note: The newer restaurant in West Jordan has a playground as well, but it is located outdoors.)
The bathrooms are clean and well kept, and a changing table is provided.
After you meal, make a night of it and take in a movie at the surrounding Jordan Commons.

Try to avoid going during the dinner rush on the weekends, when wait time can run anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours.
getting there:
One of several restaurants in Jordan Commons. Take I-15 to 9000 South and head east. Once you reach State Street turn right (south) until you reach 9400 south. Turn left (east).
